SOUTH AFRICAN BRAAI CHOPS MARINADE

Marinade Sauce Ingredients:
  • ¾ cup Mrs Ball's Chutney
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Crushed garlic (heaped)
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Green chilli, chopped
  • 3 tbsp All Gold Tomato sauce
  • ½ Lemon, juiced in The Consol Glass Juicer
  • Handful coriander, chopped
To season the chops:
  • Salt - To taste
  • Pepper - To taste
  • Robertsons Steak & chops spice
Method:
  1. Prepare the marinade by adding all the marinade ingredients to a Consol Glass San Marino Mixing Bowl - this can also be made in advance and stored in a glass bottle in the fridge.

  2. Rinse the chops, then season with seasoning ingredients.

  3. Baste the chops and then braai – baste with the marinade with every turn until done.

  4. Serve immediately with your favourite braai sides.
