CINNAMON OATS BOWL

Serves 1 

Start your morning the cosy way, with a bowl of hot oats served in a Consol Glass Opal Bowl. Because comfort food deserves to look as good as it tastes.

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Water or milk
  • ½ tbsp Maple syrup, brown sugar or honey (optional)
  • ¼ - ½ tsp Ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruit and nuts of your choice (optional)        

Method: 

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the oats, water or milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and a pinch of salt.

  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to a low simmer. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft, creamy and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

  3. Spoon the warm oats into a Consol Glass Opal Bowl for a simple yet elegant breakfast moment.

  4. Top with your favourites - sliced apples, fresh berries, crunchy granola or toasted pecans. The customisation is up to you!
