MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Serves 1

Ingredients:
  • 4 tbsp Self-raising flour

  • 4 tbsp Caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 3 tbsp Canola or sunflower oil
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp Chocolate chips or nuts (optional)
Method:
  1. Add the self-raising flour, caster sugar, and cocoa powder to the Consol Glass Opal Mug.

  2. Add the egg and mix together as well as possible - it’s alright if there’s still dry mix showing.

  3. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla essence and mix until smooth. Optional: Add chocolate chips or nuts and mix again.

  4. Place your Consol Glass Opal Mug in the middle of a microwave oven and cook on high for 1½ - 2 minutes, or until it has stopped rising and is firm to the touch.

  5. ENJOY on its own or with a dollop of cream or ice cream.
